She successfully argued 11 out of 11 cases before the Supreme Court, Supreme Judicial Court and Massachusetts Appeals Court.

As a full-time, single mother and divorcee she brings invaluable perspective and practical advice to her clients, and an understanding of the need for resolution. Recently remarried, she also knows that life does get better after divorce - even when it seems hard to believe during such a difficult process.

Catherine Becker Good, Esq.

Catherine has been practicing law for 29 years.  During her many years in practice, Catherine has appeared before most judges in the Probate Courts across the state.  Given her exposure to the various courts and judges, Catherine is able to provide insight into a particular judge’s practices and strategize a legal course of action that best benefits the client.

Catherine has also dedicated most of her years in practice to defending clients in criminal cases in the various district courts across the state.  Catherine is well respected among her colleagues and Assistant District Attorneys.  Catherine handles all district court cases, including: operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, domestic violence, larceny and motor vehicle offenses.

Additionally, Catherine represents clients in filing for chapter 7 petitions.  Catherine will walk the client through the bankruptcy process, from preparing the petition to appearing before the Court for the meeting of creditors.  All of Catherine’s clients have successfully filed for, and been granted discharges, under chapter 7.

Amanda is a recent graduate of Suffolk University Law School where she developed a strong interest in Family Law and Estate Planning.
Prior to starting with Legal Solutions Law Group, she worked as a law clerk for a civil litigation firm with a focus in medical malpractice defense. Amanda enjoyed helping others while volunteering with the Boston Court Service Center. There, she offered legal information and assistance to pro se litigants regarding their family law and housing law cases. Amanda graduated from Boston University, College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. A native and longtime resident of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Amanda enjoys music, cooking, and playing tennis.

Helping people navigate difficult legal challenges and get the most just results possible is Attorney Michael Thaler’s passion.

A former Assistant District Attorney (ADA) in private practice since 2016, Attorney Thaler applies a wealth of courtroom experience to representing clients throughout the Commonwealth in the District, Superior and Probate and Family Courts. His principal areas of focus are criminal defense and family law.

His experience as a trial attorney spans all manner of legal issues that arise from the onset of an investigation to a matter’s conclusion via a resolution or a trial. As an ADA, Attorney Thaler prosecuted well over one thousand cases, including hundreds of motions and over one hundred trials to verdict in the Norfolk County District Courts and more than ten felony trials in the Superior Court.

A native of the Boston area, Attorney Thaler holds a J.D. from The George Washington
University Law School and a B.A. from Duke University. He is licensed to practice law in
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Federal District of Massachusetts.
